Liverpool Transfer Roundup: 22-Year-Old Liverpool Star Set To Depart, No Offer Made For The Heavily Linked Defender And More

Liverpool manager is preparing his first full managing season at the Reds this summer as he looks to bring in new players and cut loose those who he believes will not be contributing to the squad as much.

The Reds have already signed German Goalkeeper Loris Karius and Cameroon international Joel Matip into the squad and there are few more expected incomings and outgoings from the Merseysiders.

Samed Yesil is set to move out of the Anfield and as of now the expected destination for the young player is Trabzonspor. The 22 year old’s contract with the Reds will be expiring this summer and he has not been offered a new contract with the club after spending the season on loan at Swiss outfit Luzern.

The Reds are close to bringing in Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain into the squad after the player expressed clear interest to move out of Napoli and join the Reds.

FC Koln’s sporting director Jorg Schmadtke has dismissed the claims that Liverpool have made an offer for German left-back Jonas Hector. The Reds are reportedly in the market for a new defender, but it appears the 26-year-old is going nowhere unless they make a big offer, after Schmadtke said: “There is no offer from Liverpool. And for the sums being spoke about, we cannot take this seriously.”
