Liverpool To Tempt Theo Walcott With A Striker Role

It is known to all that Manchester city and Liverpool are showing interest in Arsenal’s latest contract rebel Theo Walcott. Many believed he wanted to get out of Arsenal to earn more money. Arsenal are unwilling to raise their 80k pounds per week contract offer. But the speedster himself came out some time back and said,

“I am not affected by money, It is a case of having trust in me up front. I was signed as a striker and it is about time, I want to play up front. Hopefully I will be given the opportunity. I am desperate for it.”

Now sources close to Liverpool revealed that they are ready to give a striker’s role to Walcott in order to lure him to Anfield. Walcott will be part of Brendon Rodger’s strike force who swap positions all the time during the game providing Walcott with more time in the center.

Liverpool are expected to make a £10 million initial bid when the window opens again in January.
