Liverpool are looking to sign AS Monaco player Kylian Mbappe. The 17 year old is one of the best young talents in AS Monaco and is the youngest to make his debut in Ligue 1.
According to French newspaper Aujourd’hui en France, Mbappe’s contract with Monaco ends in the summer and the contract renewals talks have not been all that productive. While Paris Saint Germain and Real Madrid too are interested in the player, Liverpool has already taken steps to sign the player in the summer.
Having scored against Troyes, Mbappe became Monaco’s youngest goalscorer, a record earlier held by Thierry Henry. Mbappe is often compared to Henry, who himself was the product of Monaco Academy.
While Manchester United signing Anthony Martial involved big bucks, Liverpool may be gaining a good bargain considering they get to bring in the 17 year old wide forward, into their squad in the summer.
