Liverpool Set To Spend £30m For Just “ONE” Premier League Goal

MArio Balotelli

It is now being suggested that Mario Balotelli, who is presently at Serie A outfit AC Milan and was bought by Liverpool for £16m, is costing the Premier League outfit around £60k-a-week towards his wages, though he has been loaned back to Italy. The Reds’ experiment with the Italy international failed miserably and the deal could end up costing them further £30m, as per Neil Moxley of the Sunday People.

The 25-year old superstar was sent out to Milan by manager Brendan Rodgers, the club from which he was bought 15 months ago and will now be staying there on loan for the rest of the current campaign.

However, speculations confirmed that the Merseysiders are still paying part of the bill for the Italian attacker’s wages.

Liverpool are still playing around £60,000-a-week for the player who has literally been a disaster for them at Anfield, scoring once in the league last term. Things aren’t really going well for Rodgers and his side at the moment it seems.
