Liverpool Transfer Updates
Merseyside club Liverpool are in the race to sign Polish international Jakub Blaszczykowski, as per claims by talkSPORT. The midfield superstar has not played a single game for Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund so far during the current campaign and has been frustrated by the lack of game time at the club.
Apart from the Reds, La Liga outfit Real Betis were also being linked with a move for the 29-year-old winger, who wants an increase on his £1.8m yearly salary which he gets at the moment. This would mean that only the Merseyside club will be able to afford such a deal and Betis could eventually back out.
Further, north London giants Arsenal are also keeping tabs on his future, as manager Arsene Wenger is always looking to strengthen his squad with talented players. It is also being confirmed that a deal could be eventually done for around a price of around £10m though it would be interesting to see what kind of an impact the player makes.
