Liverpool defender Tiago Ilori has been linked with a move away from Anfield in the coming transfer window. Ilori has failed to impress since moving from Portugal and is believed to have no future at the Merseyside. Liverpool are in talks with Spanish side Deportiva La Coruna in order to secure a permanent summer transfer, a move that might help the Portuguese defender resurrect his career.
Ilori drew a lot of attention as a youngster before making a big money move to England. However, he has failed to impress and has spent loan spells at Granada, Bordeaux and Aston Villa in search of first team football.
With Joel Matip joining the side in the summer and Joe Gomez showing signs of return to match fitness, it is unlikely that Ilori will get a chance to revive his career and the move away from Anfield works bet for all the parties involved.
