Bayern Munich forward Mario Gotze has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool this summer. And according to the reports from the Telegraph, the Reds are confident of bringing the Germany international into the Anfield.
Gotze has emerged to be Liverpool’s priority target this season and after struggling at Bayern Munich under Pep Guardiola, the player has been looking for an escape route from the Allianz Arena, and has also been allowed by Carlo Ancelotti that he can move out of the club this summer.
Gotze is set to reunite with his former manager Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool and of course rebuild his career after a tough spell at Bayern. The relationship between Getze and the Reds manager is said to be the key to the whole transfers.
The player has been rated at £20m by Munich. The Reds are trying to make their stance even stronger by securing Champions League qualification, for which they will need to beat Sevilla in Europa League final next week.
