Liverpool are looking out for Rennes striker Ousmane Dembele for a potential transfer move to the Anfield this summer.
The 18 year old player has grabbed attention from many different clubs this season after his debut in November. The player has had an exceptional season so far with 12 goals to his credit in 25 appearances and has been included in the FranceUnder-21 squad.
The Reds have started negotiations for the player according to the French newspaper L’Equipe. However the Reds will be facing strong competition from the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal who are also keen on the 18 year old player.
Reports further suggest that the French club has already rejected the offers from Borussia Dortmund which involved a £11.9million bid for the striker. According to L’Equipe because Liverpool and Manchester City have entered negotiations for the player Dortmund’s offer was rejected by Rennes. The club are looking to get a bigger fee for the player, who will be the one paying is still open for negotiations.
