How Could A Line Up With Only The Latest EPL Signings Look? Featuring Stars From Manchester United, Tottenham And Merseyside Clubs

The Premier League is the richest football competition in the Europe, if not the world. Almost every club in the league ends up paying over the odds to get the players they want, sometimes at a premium.

The 20 clubs in England can attract the best of talents and it is no different this season either as many of the best will their best to prove they belong in this level. While a few stars are making a return to England, here is a list of players that have been transferred this season into their sides and this XI certainly can beat most teams in the world.

Steve Mandanda

The former Marseille goalkeeper was a bit of a surprise signing, to be honest. After spending so many years at the top in Ligue 1, the French goalie decided to swap Marseille for Crystal Palace.

Alan Pardew though has pulled off a coup as Mandanda is one of the best French goalkeepers in the world and he surely will provide a lot of competition for the number one spot at the London club.

Joel Matip

A player that many wanted to sign but Liverpool stole a march on their rivals thanks to the links Jurgen Klopp has in Germany. The central defender joined the Merseyside club on a free! A free!

The 24-year-old might still be prone to a mistake or two but he has the talent and the ability to become on of the best in the world and he will be looking to prove his doubters wrong in the Red of Liverpool.

Mike van der Hoorn

Swansea might have lost their captain to Everton but they still seem to have done pretty well with the signing of Mike van der Hoorn. The 23-year-old central defender is one of the hottest talents in Dutch football and moving from Ajax to Swansea does seem like a big deal for the Swans.

The defender might have a tough time to get used to the physicality of the Premier League but he can only get better and that is what most Swansea fans would hope for.

Eric Bailly

The defender who has caught everyone’s eye so far in the Premier League, Eric Bailly looked like a regular Premier League player who has been at the club and the league for a number of years.

The former Villarreal defender might have been a costly purchase by Jose Mourinho but there is no doubting his talent and that is all that matters at the moment, well until he makes a big error that costs United a game.

Ilkay Gundogan

The former Borussia Dortmund midfielder is one of the best passers of the ball and it is no surprise that Pep Guardiola spent big money to bring the German to an ageing Manchester City team.

Gundogan might be injured at the moment but once he comes back to full fitness, he would slot perfectly into Pep’s side and would make them a lot more dangerous than they are at the moment.

Granit Xhaka

The Swiss midfielder was one of the earliest transfers to have taken place this season and while he didn’t have the greatest of Premier League debuts in the loss to Liverpool, he did put himself about and proved he does have a mean streak and loves to tackle.

The 23-year-old seems set to be a great enforcer for Arsenal, something they have missed for years and they really need some leadership now more than ever.

Steven Defour

One of the more surprising signings of the season, Burnley broke their transfer record to sign the talented Belgian midfielder, though many would have forgotten about Defour.

The 28-year-old might not be the Belgian always in the news but he will give Burnley a lot of quality as they look to avoid the drop this season.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan

Borussia Dortmund lost another star this season, though they did get back Mario Gotze, Mkhitaryan would be a huge loss for the side as he was one of the most creative midfielders in the Bundesliga and it would be tough to find a replacement for the Armenian.

Manchester United have done brilliant business in bringing him here and he will certainly give them the missing creativity that they have needed for a couple of seasons now.

Michy Batshuayi

The Belgian striker was another big money signing in the Premier League but he has shown that he has the ability to star in the Premier League and he did set up Diego Costa for the winner against West Ham United.

Batshuayi is being touted as the next Didier Drogba and it is not surprising that he is being called that. He has the pace, strength and the finishing ability to become a success in the Premier League.

Vincent Janssen

Tottenham to have done some pretty good business signing the top scorer from last season’s Eredivisie. The 22-year-old would not only provide Tottenham with a lot of sharpness in the final third but Spurs might have finally found a partner for Harry Kane.

The Dutch striker is already an international and seems to be on his way to greatness, with the Netherlands and Spurs.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic

The Swede has to be the biggest name to have come into the Premier League. Not only has Zlatan scored in the Community Shield, he backed it up with another goal against Bournemouth in the Premier League, on his debut.

Manchester United certainly have done incredible business in the summer but getting Zlatan on a free has to be one of the best deals ever.
