Leicester City opinion: Jarrod Bowen to Leicester – good move?

English news outlet the Leicester Mercury and the Derby Telegraph have reported that Leicester City are very keen on a move for Jarrod Bowen.

The reports further add that this is particularly because new manager Brendan Rodgers is an admirer of the free-scoring Championship starlet.

Currently contracted to Hull City, the 22-year-old has been on a sensational run in the Championship, with 20 goals to his name. That puts him among the top goalscorers in the second-tier, sitting just four goals behind second place Tammy Abraham.

Jarrod Bowen is the only winger in the top-ten. A talented wide player, the 22-year-old is among the best in his position in the Championship.

Powerful, very quick off the mark and a footballing intelligence to match all that, Bowen has showcased that he has the ability to flourish anywhere.

That’s something that Leicester City have missed terribly this season, after losing Riyad Mahrez to Manchester City. Demarai Gray was supposed to step-up and recreate some of the Algerian’s magic but has failed to do so.
