Leicester City player Jamie Vardy’s future with the Foxes uncertain as the player ponders over a move to the Gunners this summer.
The Gunners have been looking to sign the player and are willing to activate the player’s release clause of £20m, however Leicester City made a counter offer to the player, thus Vardy as of now is pondering over his decision whether to stay at the King Power or to head to the Emirates.
“We want to keep him,” Ranieri is quoted in Calcio Mercato.
“Arsenal have said that they are willing to pay the clause but he hasn’t accepted yet. It’s up to the player to say yes or no.”
The player has not made any decision as of now and many believe that the player can go either way. Claudio Ranieri is in a tough position right now wherein he stands a chance to lose his valued players the likes of Riyad Mahrez and N’Golo Kante, both of whom have number of clubs looking to sign them.
“I hope I can keep all of my champions and add those players we are looking for to strengthen the squad.”
Earlier, many believed that there is 80% chance of Vardy move to the Gunners not occurring and today too it is not happening, however the beliefs have changed.
