Leicester City and Brendan Rodgers, who have a decent history of developing young players, should beat the competition to sign the young attacker in the summer.

Redan first caught Chelsea’s eyes during his under-14 days with Ajax. He stole the show by scoring a staggering 44 goals in his first season with the club and repeated the feat in the following season.

His performances earned him a move to Stamford Bridge in 2017 where he started with the under-18 squad. His development was massive that campaign and ended the season being a regular starter for the club’s development team in the Premier League 2.

The youngster has also featured for the Dutch youth sides and even led their under-17 squad to European glory.

Redan has scored a stunning 20 goals and 4 assists in 25 games and is touted to be a part of the future of Dutch football which already boasts of the likes of Frenkie de Jong and Mathjis de Ligt.

Redan deserves a run in a senior squad under a manager who would trust him and Brendan Rodgers is the ideal man to do so. Leicester have room for a forward as talented as him, especially with star forward Jamie Vardy ageing.
