Leeds United News: “I couldn’t answer this question” – Bielsa isn’t thinking about Premier League yet

Leeds United News: Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa says he is currently focused on the Championship and isn’t thinking of the Premier League.

The Argentine manager attended the press conference ahead of the clash against promotion rivals West Bromwich Albion.

When asked about the promotion of the Whites, Bielsa replied (h/t Leeds Live)

“I couldn’t answer this question because there are so many conditions that I can’t solve now, today.

“There is a principle that we all apply when we educate. For example, when we raise our kids, we tell them not to spend what they don’t have.

“I behave like that in this case.”

Leeds in a great position for promotion

The Whites manager kicked off the season strongly and Leeds were the leaders of the table at once.

However, they stuttered a bit and now sit in third behind Norwich City and Sheffield United.

The Elland Road club’s last game against Queens Park Rangers ended in a defeat. Following the game, Bielsa pointed out the temporary absence of Liam Cooper played a big part in their defeat.

The Whites are set to face West Brom at Elland Road tomorrow night.

Bielsa also said the Baggies were in a similar sort of situation as Leeds. He also mentioned the possible threat the visitors have with the help of offensive players.
