BBC Football has reported that the Welsh Club are failing to figure out a suitable buyout clause for the winger.

James nearly signed for LUFC before the Swans decided to snub the deal on the final day of the transfer window.

However, the Whites president said the Welsh international would remain their top priority in the summer.

Over the course of the season, the 21-year-old has matured into a key players for his side, even drawing interest from the Premier League giants Manchester City. (h/t The Sun)

James also shined in yesterday’s game against Brentford as his goal in the second half helped the Swans pick up a crucial win.

Now upon hearing the recent issues of the youngster with his club, Leeds fans have reacted on Twitter believing that it could reignite the clubs’ interest in James.

The former Hull City youth product wants a buyout clause worth £4 million.(h/tBBC Football ) In the Euro Qualifiers, James scored his maiden goal against Slovakia.

Furthermore, with Graham Potter’s side miles away from the promotion race,  James would certainly have second thoughts about his future at the club.
