The Macedonian left-back suffered the injury in the 2-0 defeat against Brentford.
The 27-year-old has been a key player for Marcelo Bielsa, since joining the Elland Road club in 2017.
As far as this season is concerned, Alioski has bagged 7 goals and 5 assists in more than 40 appearances.
He also had a good international break, scoring a stunning goal in the 3-1 win against Latvia.
Bielsa’s left defender conundrum
The Argentinian manager is currently facing a great dilemma in choosing the left defender ahead of the game against Aston Villa.
With Barry Douglas and Alioski getting injured, the options aren’t great for the Whites.
The available options are Gaetano Berardi, Stuard Dallas, and teenager Leif Davis.
Davis signed for the Whites this season and has fallen down the pecking order lately. The Morecambe youth product has made only 4 appearances in the first-team so far.
After creating a huge impression in the LUFC reserves, the English left-back was called by Bielsa to the first-team; making his debut in the game against Villa.
It will be a great chance for Davis to show his value if the Argentinian manager picks him ahead of others in the upcoming games.
