Marcelo Bielsa’s side were able to find the form lately after going through a lot of hardships since the start of this year.

A hard fought draw against Middlesbrough followed by a convincing victory has put the Whites in the title race again.

Douglas, the former Wolves player spoke about the team’s qualities this season (h/t Leeds Live):

“What we’ve got this season is special and unique.”

“The spirit we’ve got with the boys in the dressing room is something that you rarely come by in your career.”

He added that it is difficult to compare the Whites with his former side.

The Scottish left-back was acquired by the Elland Road club this season. Though he couldn’t replicate the form he had at Wolves, Douglas has made a decent impact with the Whites providing four assists.

He is currently out of the squad owing to the muscular problem.

Ups and downs for Leeds this season

Marcelo Bielsa had a difficult start to this month with the Norwich City defeat followed by the Spy-gate controversy for which the club were fined.

The Whites, who led the table at the start of the season, have been in the wars recently with Norwich, West Brom and Sheffield United all looking for promotion.

And with the Championship reaching the final third, United are set to face a tough battle for the promotion.
