Leeds United highlights: Patrick Bamford ends his bad run of form with a stunning brace

Leeds United highlights: Leeds United forward, Patrick Bamford, finally ended his poor run of form, with a stunning brace against Preston.

Patrick Bamford

The English striker was under a lot of pressure, owing to his poor displays in the last two games.

As a result, he was reprimanded by the fans, who considered him to be an area of weakness for the Whites.

But Bamford silenced his doubters in the best possible way, with a spectacular brace last night.

He broke the deadlock after 60 minutes of the game, with a great finish. He collected the ball calmly, before firing it hom from outside the box.

The goal came off his left foot, which resembled Arjen Robben’s signature finish.

The former Crystal Palace forward added another goal to his account, which eventually helped LUFC secure a 2-0 win.

Bamford was awarded the man of the match award for his brilliant performance.

The victory saw Leeds move to second in the Championship table.

Marcelo Bielsa is looking to end his first season at Elland Road on a high, by ensuring a place in the Premier League next season.
