Latest Transfer Rumours: Arsenal Enter Battle To Sign £35m United & Liverpool’s German Target

Thomas Muller

Arsenal and Liverpool have joined Manchester United in an attempt to price German International Thomas Muller away from Bayern Munich, reports from leading German magazine Kicker has suggested.

Thomas Muller who has been suggested as a potential Man United target once Louis Van Gaal takes reign at Old Trafford has surprisingly been linked with fellow Premier League heavyweights Liverpool and Arsenal. According to the report it is suggested that Muller, who has spent his entire career with the Bavarian club has grown impatient with Club manager Pep Guardiola. It is said that Guardiola has failed to show faith in the forward, leaving him on the bench during crucial games.

Muller, who has scored 25 goals and has assisted 14 more this season, would no doubt be a valuable addition to either Arsenal or Liverpool who will be looking to give competition for the big spending Chelsea and Man City next season. But the big question is whether the Bundesliga outfit would be ready to sell the German?

Talking on the issue, Bayern legend Franz Beckenbauer has said:

“Normally I would say we should not stop people who want to move on. But for Thomas Muller, FC Bayern should fight to win him over, if he really has plans to leave.

“He is the original Bavarian player, and the fans identify with him. I don’t see any reason why he should be unhappy in Munich.

Muller has been valued at around £35 million. If Wenger do go and get his man, it would be a dream midfield line-up for the Gunners. The likes of Ozil, Muller, Ramsey, Walcott along with Cazorla, Rosicky, Wilshere and not to forget their fringe stars, can dominate the Premier League.
