Celta de Vigo Vs Real Madrid- Match Preview

FC Barcelona v Real Madrid CF - Copa Del Rey - Semi Final Second Leg

Celta de Vigo :

With the prospect of settling for a top four finish, Celta remain intact for any challenges ahead particularly after re-instating its booze last weekend when Berizzo’s men edged past Eibar 1-0. After departure of Luis Enrique to the Catalan side, Celta’s hopes hanged amidst danger but thanks to Eduardo Berizzo who stabilized his side later. With 6 games in hand and though a top half finish is highly out of the question , potential perspective prompts Celta to cause a couple of upsets to reach it’s feat of qualifying for next season’s Europa League.

Just like they played spoil sport against Real Madrid last season hurling off their league title hopes with a 2-0 appalling win, they are on course to cause grievous harm.

The Pontevedran club has got tricky fixtures ahead including that of against Malaga, Sevilla, Valencia and Espanyol but still they are determined to seal in a convincing finish to the season.

Real Madrid :

Real Madrid look to capture the top spot from FC Barcelona who are leading by a couple of points. Despite owning a good current form, Real’s away record does not look quite convincing having 3 defeats in past 6 away games.

Regardless of injury woes , the Madrid side is quite prophylactic before the weekend game after displaying some fine show of football in Champions League. Bagging its semi-final spot without injured play-makers Luka Modric and Gareth Bale, Ancelotti appears to have no befuddlement in choosing his starting eleven. With Javier Hernandez notching the late lonely game in the past mid-week Champions League game against arch rivals Atletico Madrid, the Mexican has lifted his form to a considerable extent under Ancelotti.

Team News :

* Real Madrid are sure to miss the services of Gareth Bale and Luka Modric .

*  Injured Frenchman Karim Benzema remain doubtful; if so, Javier Hernandez will be handed another opportunity to prove himself.

* Sergio Ramos is also likely to miss the game after he underwent an individual workout.

* After suffering from  suspension, Marcelo will be back in the starting eleven and as a result Portuguese left-back Fabio Coentrao will be replaced.

* A healthy no-change line-up from Celta de Vigo digs into its third successive triumph.
