In an interview with sportscaster Isabela Pagliari, PSG star Kylian Mbappe spoke about his relationship with Neymar, Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
As we know, Mbappe and Neymar have a good understanding between each other both on and off the pitch. The talented duo has wreaked havoc in Ligue 1 together in the past two seasons and has brought several laurels to the club.
In a recent game, both of them were seen as having a snack while on the bench. And there are many more instances where they have shared interesting moments.
However, in a recent interview, the Frenchman spoke highly of his teammate and said: “Neymar has all the qualities, he doesn’t need mine”. The exclusive video, which was released on YouTube by Esporte Interativo, has garnered 7.9K likes.
It is true that the Brazilian has been under the light for both positive and negative reasons but his qualities can never be doubted.
Neymar became a well-known person for his wonders with Santos at a very young age and a move to Barcelona helped him gain stardom. Alongside two of the best players in the world, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, he became unstoppable.
The trio was influential in Barcelona’s dominance in La Liga and secured a Champions League trophy in the 2014/15 season.
Neymar also helped Brazil win the Olympic Gold and the Confederation Cup but unfortunately missed out in the 2019 Copa America tournament due to ankle injury.
The 27-year-old is capable of changing the game on his own, evident from his days at Barcelona and is tipped to be a future Balon d’Or winner. His qualities have never let him down on the field and he has a proven track record.
Thus, Mbappe was right in saying that his teammate has all the qualities. Neymar surely is not dependent on others to become more impactful.
