Academy’s attacking midfielder Allan Rodrigues De Souza may be the first team regular in some time according to the Reds’ manager Jurgen Klopp.
Currently on a loan deal with Belgian club Sint Truiden, the Brazilian is set to return to Anfield at the end of the season and may make his debut in the first team then. De Souza was to make his debut in the first team this year, however due to work Visa issues the player was not able to return to the Merseyside.
“He [Allan] is an outstanding talent [and] will be a fixed part of the squad in the future, for sure. He’s a good player with a good attitude, everybody loves him.”
The player is considered to be a pure talent, he can play Centrally or as a number-10. He has been on a loan deal with many different clubs and as such this has helped both the club and the player.
While Academy players have had tough time making into the first team, De Souza will have a tough game into his hand trying to make it to the first team, however with the manager on his side half of his job is done in the same direction.
“European football is not like Brazilian football – the game pace and dynamic on the ball are very different. I will take it step by step, with humility and hard work. I want to bring joy to Liverpool supporters” – said De Souza
