In spite of signing Miralem Pjanic from Roma just recently, Juventus are believed to be still in hunt for a strong holding midfielder who can add more squad depth and provide more options for the team.
Naturally Nemanja Matic is the pick from English Premier League as the player seems to be heavily linked with a move away from Chelsea this season. After joining Chelsea back from Benfica in 2014, Matic has had two very different seasons. Last season in particular was abysmal for the Serbian and with a long term contract that lasts till 2019 and a price tag of £14 million he may not be a very suitable purchase for most Italian clubs.
Juventus don’t seem to be much bothered about it and with Juan Cuadrado set to return to Chelsea, the Old Lady is looking to swoop for Nemanja Matic. Report from Sport Italia also claims that Juventus may lose a few players themselves and signing Matic is only sensible.
