Juventus are the favourites to sign Paul Pogba and not Real Madrid

Tuttosport claims that France star Paul Pogba still remains one of Juventus’ priorities in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The 26-year-old is keen to move away from Old Trafford and there were times when he was linked to top European teams. He hasn’t featured for Manchester United in a long time due to injuries.

Despite Zinedine Zidane doing everything he could to bring his compatriot to Real Madrid, Pogba remained with the Red Devils last summer. But it is quite obvious that he is not happy in England and is pushing for a move.

There are only a few teams who can afford to pay his transfer value – Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Juventus. But it is likely that a move to Turin is on the cards.

The World cup winner had previously played for the Old lady from 2012 to 2016 and struck a good partnership with some of the current Juve players.

A few days back, Argentine star and Juventus playmaker Paulo Dybala had expressed his desire to play alongside the Frenchman. He said that they were good friends and he would be happy to see Pogba at the Allianz stadium.

Hence, given the happenings, it is clear that Juventus are the favourites to acquire his services in the future. And a move to Real Madrid seems unlikely due to the emergence of Federico Valverde.

Pogba has not been in the thick of things for quite a long time due to injury. He has featured in just 8 games for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side this season and in the process, he has only 2 assists to his name and no goals.

However, he should be fit in some time after undergoing surgery on his ankle. A talented player, Pogba is sure to get into the line-up of any side but needs to be more dedicated and fit when big clubs come calling for him.

Therefore, we have to wait and see if he can get his desired move away from England.
