The Blues may be looking to bring in striker Odion Ighalo into the Stamford Bridge. Ighalo currently plays for Watford.
Blues are in dire need for strikers due to injuries of its current players. While Radamel Falcao is in the sick bed with no return date stated, Diago Costa too is injured, although he will recover soon and unlike Falcao not injured indefinitely. With Loic Remy leaving the club, Chelsea need to add strikers into their squad.
Reports suggest that Chelsea is not the only club looking to add the Nigerian striker into their squad. Arsene Wenger will be giving the Blues stiff competition for the player. Mirror further reports Atletico Madrid and AS Roma’s interest on Ighalo, who are also tracking the situation at Watford.
While Ighalo’s form has not been all that great this season, he still has time to work on it and so an addition to one of Premier League clubs can occur for the player.
