With £70m budget to spend, it is expected that Arsenal manager Wenger will sign some big names this Summer. Jovetic and David Villa are reportedly the top targets for the Frenchman who wants to strengthen his team’s attacking options.
According to Caught Offside, the Jovetic has agreed a £100,000 a week four-year-deal with Arsenal. Transfer fee is reported to be around 24 million pounds.
But there is one road block to this deal. We are hearing rumors that Jovetic’s move to Emirates depends on Arsenal’s Champions League qualification. Currently Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal are fighting a three-way battle for top four spots. If Tottenham beat Chelsea at bridge, then the situation will be real tough for Arsenal to qualify.
