Jose Mourinho has been recently unveiled as the Manchester United manager (even though he had signed nearly 4 weeks earlier). From all the reports it appears the manager is getting to work quickly.

First order of business – sort out the numbers. Jose reportedly does not like any player wearing jerseys with number above 30 and will ask several players to change their jersey numbers. Currently Rashford wears 39, Lingard wears 35, Darmian 36, Borthwick-Jackson 43 and Fosu-Mensah wears 51. They could all change. However the Portuguese manager will not force them to change it and if there is a particular reason why they would want to continue with those numbers he will allow it.

Bastian Schweinsteiger wears 31 as he did in Bayern Munich. However he will not be asked to change as his reason for wearing the number is clear. This also hints that the future of Schweinsteiger could be in jeopardy as there are reports that he may be put up for sale.
