Jose Mourinho Talks About Deadline Day Transfers – Manchester United Latest

Manchester United’s summer transfer dealing is officially over. The club has spent £156 million in total for three players and has acquired four players this transfer season.

Jose Mourinho has reportedly told the staff not to expect any further signing this window according to the Daily Mail. While the media is still continuing to link the club with a move for Jose Fonte and Gabriel Barbosa, Jose Mourinho appeared calm in his press conference yesterday. When asked about Jose Fonte, he replied “I do not speak about players from other clubs”.

A source said: ‘You can never rule anything in or out but they are expecting Pogba to be the last new arrival in the window.

‘Things can change quickly, but other than a number of players heading out on loan, don’t expect to see much more activity.’

If one remembers he said the same thing about Paul Pogba while the Frenchman was being linked with a move to United and while it may be genuine, one cannot just rule out the possibility of one or two more signings. However, as Mourinho had mentioned earlier, he and the club are content with the dealings so far and in case any exits happen or a target becomes available, Manchester United fans could see new signings.
