Jokanovic to make no changes – Predicted 4-3-3 Fulham line-up to face Reading

Predicted Fulham Line-up To Face Reading In The EFL Championship

Fulham have been unstoppable ever since they sparked a late resurgence to become a strong contender for a promotion to the Premier League. After three consecutive wins against the likes of Norwich City, Leeds United and Sheffield Wednesday, the Cottagers will now prepare to face Reading in a midweek Championship clash at Craven Cottage.

Slavisa Jokanovic’s men are the clear favourites to win this one but if there is anything this season has taught us so far, it is to not take anything for granted.

Probable Fulham XI

Manager: Slavisa Jokanovic

Formation: 4-3-3

Marcus Bettinelli (GK)

Bettinelli has been solid for Fulham and he is expected to retain his spot against Reading.

Ryan Fredericks (RB)

Fredericks is a force to reckon with on the right-hand side and he can attack and defend with equal gusto. Thus, he should be handed a start this week.

Ryan Fredericks

Denis Odoi (CB)

Odoi is one of Fulham’s strongest aerial contenders, making him a sure starter for the upcoming clash against Reading.

Tim Ream (CB)

Ream is expected to partner Odoi in the heart of the defence since the duo has been rather strong of late.

Matt Targett (LB)

Targett’s marauding runs up and down the left flank have helped him create a good partnership with Sessegnon. Furthermore, he is defensively stoic and should find himself in the starting XI.

Kevin McDonald (DM)

McDonald usually plays an effective role in linking the attack with the defence seamlessly and he is expected to receive a start against Reading.

Tom Cairney (CM)

Cairney is undoubtedly Fulham’s midfield maestro and he is a creative genius as well. One of the most influential players at Fulham, the midfielder is likely to start when Reading pay a visit.

Ryan Sessegnon
Ryan Sessegnon

Stefan Johansen (CM)

Johansen continues to go from strength-to-strength for Fulham and he is likely to partner Cairney in the middle of the park.

Ryan Sessegnon (LW)

Sessegnon has been one of the Championship’s brightest stars this season and the teenager seems to be showing no signs of slowing down. Should retain his spot this week.

Sheyi Ojo (RW)

Ojo replaced Ayite in the game against Wednesday and although the latter came on as a substitute, he had to be withdrawn due to an injury. Thus, Ojo is likely to hold on to his spot against Reading.

Aleksandar Mitrovic (ST)

The on-loan star has been a force to reckon with for Fulham and he should lead the line for the Cottagers this week.
