Jokanovic to make 4 changes – Predicted 4-3-3 Fulham lineup to face Middlesbrough

Predicted Fulham Lineup To Face Middlesbrough In The EFL Championship

Fulham take a trip to the Riverside Stadium this weekend, as they gear up to take on Middlesbrough in the EFL Championship on Saturday.

The Cottagers sit 10th in the table, with 39 points after 26 rounds of fixtures. They are 2 points behind their weekend’s opponents and four points off the last playoff position. Manager Slavisa Jokanovic will be hoping to put pressure on the teams above, with a win over Tony Pulis’ side.

Fulham come into the game on the back of a four-match unbeaten record in the Championship, the latest being a 4-1 win over Ipswich Town. Despite the 1-0 loss to Southampton in the FA Cup, the London outfit will enter the game in high spirits.

Team News

Fulham winger Floyd Ayite is set to miss the game. Ayite limped off with a suspected hamstring injury during the 4-1 victory over Ipswich and was unavailable for the FA Cup match against Southampton as well.

Here’s how the Cottagers might take the field against Boro this weekend:

Manager: Slavisa Jokanovic

Formation: 4-3-3

Marcus Bettinelli (GK)

The 25-year-old has started the last six league games for Fulham and is likely to do so again, replacing David Button who was in the line-up for the cup tie.

Ryan Fredericks (RB)

A constant presence in the backline for the Cottagers, Ryan Fredericks is a guaranteed starter at right-back against Boro.

Tomas Kalas (CB)

The on-loan Chelsea defender has made 23 appearances in the English second division for his loan side this term. Should start his 24th match on Saturday.

Tomas Kalas

Tim Ream (CB)

Alongside Kalas, it should be the experienced USMNT international Tim Ream who could start in the heart of the defence.

Ryan Sessegnon (LB)

The 17-year old sensation is another permanent fixture in the team for Jokanovic. Should start as the left-back against Boro.

Tom Cairney (CM)

Having been rested for the cup game against Southampton, Tom Cairney should return to the starting XI for the Cottagers.

Oliver Norwood (CM)

The 26-year-old Northern Irishman hasn’t featured in only two Championship games this term for Fulham. Should occupy the holding role on Saturday.

Stefan Johansen (CM)

The Norwegian international has chipped in with 5 goals and 2 assists from the midfield in 25 Championship appearances. A definite starter.

Tom Cairney

Lucas Piazon (RW)

With Ayite unlikely to be fit, Lucas Piazon could be set for his first start in the Championship since August last year.

Aboubakar Kamara (ST)

The 22-year-old has scored 4 times in his last two appearances in the second division. Should get the chance to lead the line once again.

Sheyi Ojo (LW)

On the left-hand side of the attacking trident, it should be Liverpool loanee Sheyi Ojo. Has scored just once in the last five games and will want to change that.
