Is This Former Arsenal Target A Proper Solution To West Ham’s Problems?

Sometimes things seem to be perfect for both parties when it comes to transfers, and when things aren’t going your way, you should try and consider doing something completely different. That’s why today we’re going to answer a great question while discussing a rumour that’s being becoming stronger by the day: Is Mauro Icardi the solution to West Ham Problems? Well, he is linked with the Hammers.

Mauro Icardi is not only the solution to West Ham problems, but West Ham is the solution to Icardi’s. Last transfer window we heard a lot of rumours about Mauro Icardi linked to West Ham United, but at the end of that period, nothing happened and both West Ham and Icardi continued their journeys, however, both the prolific striker and the Hammers are really regretting that choice.

We all know what the Argentine is capable of delivering, as he’s been really developing his game since he arrived to Sampdoria and then to Inter, becoming the star he is right now. His numbers are impressive and they are projected to be bigger next years.

Mauro Icardi, who has been a long-term target for Arsenal, has always committed to being loyal to Inter, and this year he rejected a lot of proposals from a lot of big teams of Europe and he decided to stay playing for the “Nerazzurri”, even extending his soon to be expired contract.

Just when nothing could be wrong for Mauro, he got into a beef with the ultras of Inter due to some heated and unnecessary stuff he wrote in his book, and since then, Mauro has been in the spotlight for the wrong reasons.

Icardi gave his team the victory against Juventus in the Italian derby and he did the same thing last weekend against Torino, but this hasn’t been enough to calm the waters between him and Inter ultras, and this Monday, alarms were ignited at Giuseppe Meazza Stadium as Icardi is linked to his former pretender, West Ham United.

The “Hammers” wanted to sign Mauro last summer, but the London institution had to settle down for Simone Zaza and Jonathan Calleri, but even if they seemed like they could make an impact for them, they’re really struggling to get anything going at all.

Slaven Bilic and West Ham ownership know they need a superstar and Mauro. Taking an advantage of his troubles in Italy, they could purchase a hell of a player in Mauro Icardi.

West Ham aren’t going through a best of time right now; they are the 17th team in Premier League this season with just 10 points in hand and three victories after ten games despite being a team which had high expectations at the start of the season.

Having said that,  acquiring a great player like Mauro could totally bring back the momentum back on their behalf, and the return of Bilic’s favourite Andy Carroll could provide a great depth in the offensive front for the Hammers so they can make a big run in the second half of the season.

Some reports say Mauro is going to leave Inter in January, but nobody knows where he is going to play, as at least ten teams are more than willing to make a bid for the Argentinean striker. West Ham, as sources say, will put £25m on the table to buy Mauro, which seems like a bargain considering his absurd talent.
