Manchester United’s David De Gea has been linked with a return to Spain for quite some time now. El Confidencial stated that the footballer’s clear refusal to renew a deal with the Red Devils is a clear indication that he will be leaving. Further, it seems that he has an agreement with Real Madrid, which is a total proof that he wants out and a transfer could possibly happen soon.
A transfer fee has not been decided yet, which remains to be sorted out between the two clubs though the Premier League giants were reluctant to sell. El Confidencial added the main problem at the Bernabeu would be Iker Casillas getting out of the place on De Gea’s arrival.
The 24-year-old keeper is presently priced at €30m approximately and is considered the long-term replacement for Casillas. If he does indeed leave Old Trafford, United will have to look at another keeper to take his place.
The former Atletico Madrid man was superb last season helping United to some crucial victories.
