This weekend will be a fast one in the English Premier League, with only five matches to take place due to the involvement of the other half of clubs playing for the FA Cup. So Manchester City v Aston Villa, West Ham vs Hull City,  Arsenal vs Swansea City, Newcastle vs Everton and Liverpool vs Sunderland have all been postponed.

As for the confirmed games, Chelsea against Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge is the main event of Saturday, when all 10 participating teams will kick off matchweek 29.

Predictions of possible lineups for each side could be misleading, on the other hand, the list of who will not show up because of injures from the active sides on EPL this weekend is more of a certainty, and you can see them below.

West Brom vs Manchester United

West Brom will play host to David Moyes’ side, but they may not be able to count on five players: Lugano (knee), Jones (hamstring) and Sessegnon (groin). While Yacob (hamstring), Anelka (calf/shin) will wait the results of finals tests before the start of the game.

The Red Devils also have five doubts coming in to The Hawthorns: Hernandez (knee), Jones (hip/thigh), Rafael (concussion), Evans (calf/shin) and Nani (hamstring).

Norwich City vs Stoke City

Chris Hughton has endless puzzles to solve for this first XI. Yobo (muscle), Olsson (shoulder), Snodgrass (thumb/wrist), Van Wolfswinkel (knee), Fer (hamstring), Gutierrez (calf/shin), Turner (hamstring) and Bennett (knee) are all possibly out to face off Stoke City.

The visitors won’t count with 50 per cent fewer injured athletes, but still with Arnautovic (hamstring), Odemwingie (calf/shin), Assaidi and Huth both with knee problems in the question mark pile.

Crystal Palace vs Southampton

In a rare moment, this game could have just one player absent from both rosters. The Eagles of South Norwood could see as many as all four players (Delaney, Chamakh, Dikgacoi and Ledley ), who have gone through treatment in recent weeks, back on the field if late fit tests show a good sign.

As for Southampton only Davis (knock) may be missing in the team.

Cardiff City vs Fulham

Once the two clubs with the worst records thus far in the tournament fight on Saturday as many as nine players could be out of play.

Cardiff have Taylor and Noone with a knock problem and Hudson with a hamstring issue. While, Fulham  can almost certainly rule out Parker (knee), Kvist and Mitroglou (hamstring), Duff (knee), Amorebieta (muscle) and Briggs (groin/pelvis).

Chelsea vs Tottenham

The last match of the first part of round 26 will feature the leader versus the fifth seed. The visitors have the largest list of doubtful players on its rosters along side Norwich City with eight.

Fryers (ankle) and  Eriksen (back) will be checked before kick off and could enter throughout the game. AS for Rose (knee), Kaboul (calf/shin), Walker (hip/thigh), Capoue (ankle/foot), Lamela (back)  and Chiriches (back) their chances are a definite no.

Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho will continue without Cole (knock), Hazard (ankle/foot) and Van Ginkel (ACL).
