Injury Crisis In Madrid’s Defense Could Give Brazilian Youngster A Chance

In a situation where Madrid can’t even afford to lose a single point, they are now with out their three first choice defenders. The players have returned to training from their Internatinal duties at the club’s Valdebebas facility on Wednesday, but their three injured full-backs Alvaro Arbeloa, Marcelo and Fabio Coentrao – were all absent. With first choice full backs out of contention, Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho could call up young Brazilian starlet Fabinho to solve their injury crisis ahead of their La Liga clash against Celta Vigo on Saturday.

Brazilian youngster Fabinho to get his first chance at Madrid

Signed from  Portuguese side Rio Ave on a season long loan deal, Fabinho has done enough to win the faith of the manager who is willing to give the youngster a first outing in the league. According El Mundo, Fabinho, could be playing his first game for Los Blancos at the San Bernabeu.

The youngster impressed in Fluminense’s youth ranks before joining Rio Ave in Portugal this past summer. The right-back, who starred at the 2012 Copa São Paulo, then immediately moved to Real Madrid’s satellite side Castilla on a year-long loan deal.

The youngster will probaly make it to the bench as Mourinho is likely to play experienced Spanish fullbacks Juanfran and Jorge Casado in the starting lineup
