Arsenal Player Ratings vs Fulham – Here’s how the Gunners fared

Arsenal continued their fine form in the Premier League by thrashing Fulham 5-1 at the Craven Cottage to move into the top four of the table. Braces from Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and a lovely goal from Aaron Ramsey sealed three points for Unai Emery’s men.

Andre Schurrle scored the first half equaliser for the Cottagers, which turned out to be of no consequence in the end. This is the sixth consecutive league victory for the Gunners and nine in all competitions.

Arsenal Player Ratings

Bernd Leno (7)

Made a good save early on but never had to do too much in the game. Continues to impress overall.

Hector Bellerin (6)

Had a tough afternoon defensively but he kept going and eventually got an assist for Aubameyang’s goal.

Hector Bellerin

Rob Holding (7)

The youngster was solid throughout the game. One poor clearance allowed Fulham a chance but apart from that, he was very secured.

Skhodran Mustafi (8)

A very commanding performance from the German who kept the in-form Mitrovic quiet all game.

Nacho Monreal (6)

Didn’t look very good defensively. His poor clearance allowed the home team to score. Assisted Arsenal’s first goal.

Lucas Torreira (8)

A dominant performance in central midfield from the Uruguayan. Sat back in front of the back-four and dealt with everything Fulham did.

Granit Xhaka (7)

Was a little sloppy in possession but overall, the Swiss was good and kept the Gunners’ midfield ticking.

Lucas Torreira

Alex Iwobi (8)

Another fantastic display from an in-form Iwobi, who hugged the left-hand side and created chances in abundance. He was full of running as well.

Danny Welbeck (7)

Picked up an assist for Lacazette’s second goal and played well in parts. A decent outing.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan (6)

Had one chance to score in the first half but apart from that, he laboured in some parts of the game.

Alexandre Lacazette (8)

Scored two very good goals to further increase his reputation as a top centre-forward for the team.
