Impressive Klich, Poor Alioski – The best & the worst rated Leeds stars in the 1-0 win vs Hull City

Leeds United player ratings vs Hull – Here’s how the Whites fared

Leeds United find themselves back in the winning ways after a hard-fought 1-0 win against Hull City at the KCOM stadium. Young striker Tyler Roberts scored the only goal of the match to seal the points for Marcelo Bielsa’s men.

Mateusz Klich supplied a good ball for the centre-forward to finish off like an expert. This win puts the Peacocks back on top of the table, however, West Brom are yet to play and can take over that position by tonight.

Leeds United Player Ratings

Bailey Peacock-Farrell (6)

Didn’t have to do too much throughout the game and was comfortable.

Kalvin Phillips (7)

Started the game in the back-three but moved to the midfield in the second half. Always had space and time with the ball at his feet.

Liam Cooper (6.5)

The skipper was hardly tested defensively but he was good and comfortable alongside Jansson.

Pontus Jansson

Pontus Jansson (7)

A strong and secure performance at the back from the Swedish international.

Luke Ayling (6.5)

Not his best game, however, the full-back was creating chances by moving forward. Should have scored a goal when he missed a header from point blank range.

Barry Douglas (6)

The summer signing, as has been the case in the previous weeks, looks calm and comfortable in dealing with things without looking spectacular. He’s doing the basics right.

Mateusz Klich

Mateusz Klich (8)

The Pole looks like he’s back in form after a slight stutter in September. Put up a great ball for Roberts to score and get the three points for the team.

Samuel Saiz (6)

The Spaniard was off-radar with his decision-making. Thankfully, he had Klich on top of his game to do the creative work.

Jack Harrison (5.5)

As was the case last week, Harrison is guilty of overplaying at times, which doesn’t work in Championship football. He needs to simplify his game to some extent.

Tyler Roberts (7.5)

Scored the winner in a fine manner and kept the Hull City defenders guessing with his variety of movements.

Ezgjan Alioski (5)

Still not happening for the Macedonian. He is low on confidence right now.

Substitutes

Adam Forshaw (On after 74 mins) (6)

Came on to add fresh legs to the midfield.

Stuart Dallas (On after 74 mins) (6)

His versatility came in handy as he switched from right wing to the left after Douglas was taken off.
