As Tottenham move into their new stadium, they will be hoping to build a title-challenging team during the summer transfer window.
After going another season without silverware, Mauricio Pochettino will be keen to add a couple of top quality players to his Spurs team in a bid to challenge for the Premier League title.
While Tottenham’s policy of signing young guns with solid potential is praiseworthy, chairman Daniel Levy needs to loosen his purse strings if they are to compete strongly in Europe too.
That being said, here is how Tottenham could line up next season after completing 2 key summer deals. If Spurs manage to complete this double deal, they could even go on to win the Premier League title next season.

Hugo Lloris (GK)
While Hugo Lloris had an inconsistent season with a couple of high-profile mistakes, the Frenchman should retain his place in goal next season.
Kieran Trippier (RB)
Trippier enjoyed a decent season and was defensively better than Serge Aurier at right-back. With fantastic crossing abilities and defensive stability, Trippier is expected to start ahead of Aurier next term.
Davinson Sanchez (CB)
Sanchez impressed throughout his debut season and looks set to cement a permanent spot as Toby Alderweireld’s successor.
Jan Vertonghen (CB)
A pillar of strength at the back, Vertonghen has forged a fine partnership with young Sanchez in defence. The Belgian was one of the most consistent defenders in the league this season and he will be hoping to replicate his good form next season too.
Ryan Sessegnon (LB)
Sessegnon has turned heads in Europe with his breathtaking performances in Fulham colours. The 17-year-old is arguably one of the most exciting players on show in England at his age. With Danny Rose linked with a move away from Tottenham, the £50m-rated Sessegnon could be his ideal long-term replacement.
Eric Dier (CM)
Dier has endured a mixed bag in the recently concluded season. However, he will be given the same task of shielding the defence and providing a platform for the attackers to flourish next campaign.
Victor Wanyama (CM)
A campaign which was hit severely by injuries, Wanyama performed well whenever he was presented with a chance. Filled with a lot of energy and physicality, the Kenyan could be the ideal player to partner Dier in midfield.
Son Heung-min (LW)
Son Heung-min had an incredible season with the north Londoners. With plenty of goals and assists, the South Korean exceeded expectations this season. He will be one of Spurs’ main men next season as Pochettino would expect Son to do better.
Christian Eriksen (CAM)
Spurs’ creative genius, Eriksen moves in and around the box and has enjoyed another fruitful campaign with plenty of goals and assists.
Xherdan Shaqiri (RW)
Stoke City’s Xherdan Shaqiri has been linked with a move to Tottenham. The stocky Swiss attacker could be devastating on his day with his blistering pace and movement. He could also offer a different dimension to Spurs’ attack if they succeed in signing him in the summer transfer window. He is available for £12m.
Harry Kane (ST)
Harry Kane netted 30 goals in the league this season but couldn’t topple Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah for the Golden Boot. The England international needs to step up next season if the Lilywhites are to challenge for the Premier League title.
