Predicted Everton line-up to face Chelsea in the Premier League

Everton are on the back of a strong 3-1 win against Brighton and Hove Albion last weekend. The Toffees have so far scored in every game they’ve played this season and have looked bright under Marco Silva’s reign.

But attention will turn to the big clash against Chelsea in the league this weekend. The Blues are unbeaten so far and will pose a tough test for the Toffees.

Team News

No injury concerns at the moment for Everton. Only Jonjoe Kenny and James McCarthy are out for the Toffees. Marco Silva can deploy his strongest team and go for the win. However, Kurt Zouma will be unavailable to play against his parent club.

Everton predicted XI

Manager: Marco Silva

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Jordan Pickford (GK)

Pickford has been superb between the sticks for Everton and should keep his place.

Seamus Coleman (RB)

Coleman scored a goal after a long time in the last game and has looked good since his return from injury.

Michael Keane (CB)

Keane has looked strong at the back for Everton this season. Should lead them from the back for this game as well.

Yerry Mina (CB)

Zouma will be unavailable for this game, meaning Mina could take his place alongside Keane.

Lucas Digne (LB)

Digne has been impressive since making the move from Barcelona. He should continue in left-back.

Andre Gomes (RCM)

Gomes seemed to have solved Everton’s midfield crisis. He has been extremely effective since coming into the side.

Idrissa Gueye (LCM)

His defensive contribution to the team is immense and there’s no way he’ll sit this one out.

Theo Walcott (RAM)

Walcott has maintained his energy and threat since moving from Arsenal. He could cause all sorts of problems for the Blues.

Gylfi Sigurdsson (CAM)

The Iceland international seems to have returned to his old self. He controls everything Everton produce going forward.

Bernard (LAM)

After making a slow start, the Brazilian is now thriving under Marco Silva. He should continue on the left side.
