Probable Newcastle United XI
Manager: Rafa Benitez
Martin Dúbravka (GK)
The Slovakian has kept a clean sheet in his last two games and is expected to continue between the sticks for Newcastle.
DeAndre Yedlin (RB)
The American started the midweek game on the bench and is set to return to the starting eleven ahead of Javier Manquillo.
Fabian Schar (CB)
The 27-year-old scored a brilliant goal in the midweek against Burnley and has been solid for the Magpies. He should start again on the right-hand side of the back three.
Jamaal Lascelles (CB)
The skipper has missed just four games in the league this season and is one of the first names on the team sheet for the club. He is set to start in the heart of the defence against West Ham on Saturday.
Florian Lejeune (CB)
The Frenchman has started the last 7 games for the club and is expected to continue there on Saturday.
Matt Ritchie (LB)
The winger turned full-back has played out of position due to an injury to Paul Dummett. Despite the return of Dummett to the squad on Tuesday, Ritchie is expected to continue at left-back.
Sean Longstaff (CM)
The 21-year-old has started each of the last 7 games and has become a fan favourite. Longstaff doubled Newcastle’s lead against Burnley in the mid-week and is set to start in central midfield on Saturday.
Issac Hayden (CM)
The game against Burnley was Hayden’s 10th start in a row for the Magpies and has been impressive this season. He should start next to Longstaff against West Ham on Saturday.
Miguel Almiron (LW)
Newcastle’s record signing has been outstanding in his first two games for the club and has been a massive threat on the left wing. His electric pace and control of the ball will be key for Newcastle if they are to get a result against the Hammers.
Ayoze Perez (RW)
The 25-year-old Spaniard has scored four goals so far this season and will look to increase his tally on Saturday.
