Predicted Manchester City line-up to face Burton in the EFL Cup

EFL Cup defending champions Manchester City will be aiming to go one step closer to retaining it when they meet Burton at the Etihad in the first leg of the semi-finals. After going through a wobbly patch during the festive period, the Cityzens are back in form, more so after beating Premier League leaders Liverpool on Thursday night.

Pep Guardiola rested some his stars for the FA Cup game and something similar could be on the cards as they seek to catch the Reds in an intense title race. City are up against a Burton side who are a surprise package. Hence, the onus is on the top-division team to take this tie by the scruff of the neck.

Team News

Fabian Delph is out of red card suspension now and should be available for selection. Benjamin Mendy and Claudio Bravo are long-term absentees.
