Manchester City vs Watford predictions: Manchester City line-up

A convincing 4-1 victory against Brighton on the final day of the season was enough for Manchester City to clinch the Premier League title ahead of rivals Liverpool.

Pep Guardiola’s side now have the chance to finish off their spectacular season on a high as they take on Watford in the final of the FA Cup. A win would secure the treble for the Cityzens and with the way things are going, it is highly unlikely that they can be stopped.

Team News

Kevin de Bruyne returned to action last weekend but Fernandinho remains a big doubt. Claudio Bravo is ruled out but everybody else will be available for the final.

Aymeric Laporte (CB)

The Frenchman gave City the lead against Brighton last weekend and he has been solid at the back all season. He is a certain starter on Sunday.

Benjamin Mendy (LB)

The former Monaco man hasn’t featured much but he deserves a chance to sign off on a high after a troubled season.

Ilkay Gundogan (CM)

Gundogan scored an outstanding freekick last weekend and his presence in the midfield will be hugely important, especially in Fernandinho’s absence.

David Silva (CM)

A stalwart in the City ranks over the last few years, Silva’s influence on the game will have a major say on City’s chances of a victory on Sunday.

Phil Foden (CM)

Despite De Bruyne’s return, Foden should be given another chance in the middle of the park where he has been fantastic when given the chance.

Bernardo Silva (RW)

What a season the Portuguese international has had. Another brilliant performance at Wembley will be the perfect way to end his season.

The Argentine missed out on the Golden Boot last weekend but a treble to his name on Sunday will look a lot better. He should lead the line against the Hornets at Wembley.
