Manchester City vs Tottenham predictions – Manchester City line-up

Despite a wonderful attacking performance, Manchester City were knocked out of the Champions League by Tottenham on away goals.

Pep Guardiola’s dismal run in the final stages of the Champions League continued but he will have an opportunity to get his revenge in the Premier League when City take on Tottenham for the third time in 10 days on Saturday.

Manchester City are fortunate on the injury front, with just Claudio Bravo and Oleksandr Zinchenko ruled out for the game at the weekend. Pep Guardiola will have everybody available at his disposal as he looks to keep up the pace with Liverpool.

The 24-year-old played 84 minutes against Spurs in midweek and is expected to start again at left-back on Saturday.

Fernandinho (CDM)

The Brazilian came off the bench on Wednesday night but he should start against Spurs at the Etihad this weekend.

Kevin de Bruyne (RCM)

Despite not being able to reproduce last season’s performances, de Bruyne is a massively important player in Pep Guardiola’s system. He should start in the midfield on Saturday.

Bernardo Silva (LCM)

The 24-year-old has been directly involved in 24 goals so far this season and he should start in the midfield instead of the wing on Saturday.

Leroy Sane (LW)

Sane has only started 20 games in the league this season but the German has scored 9 goals and provided 11 assists so far.

Sterling’s outstanding tally of 39 goals in 45 appearances this season is sure to strike fear in his opponents and he should look to increase his figures for the season on Saturday.
