Chelsea vs Eintracht Frankfurt predictions: Chelsea line-up

Their place in the top-four has is all but confirmed after Arsenal and Manchester United drew over the weekend. However, for Maurizio Sarri and Chelsea, the run for their first trophy together is not over, with the second-leg yet to be played.

The Blues walked away from the first-leg with a 1-1 draw and an away goal to their name but will have to be careful. Eintracht Frankfurt were hammered by Bayer Leverkusen over the weekend and will be out to get some of their pride back.

The Bundesliga clash ended 6-1 against Frankfurt and with just two games left in the season, it puts their top-four hopes in jeopardy.

Team News

Antonio Rudiger is possibly out for the season (Evening Standard). Willian started the first-leg but the major issue is N’Golo Kante. The Frenchman suffered a hamstring injury and could be out for the season (Independent)

Barring that, Maurizio Sarri has a fully fit squad at their disposal, with the exception of Marco Van Ginkel, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Ethan Ampadu.

Tom Landry once said "Football is an incredible game. Sometimes it's so incredible, it's unbelievable." Football is and always will be the beautiful game. What every child understands, yet every adult struggles to, is that it is a game that defines the nature of the universe. But that's just me.
