Tottenham vs Olympiacos prediction: Tottenham line-up

Tottenham head into Greece for their first Champions League game of the season against the Greek champions in what should be a feisty encounter.

Spurs’ memory of the final in Madrid will still be on their mind but they can’t be dwelling onto that for too long and will be looking to get off and running after having their most convincing victory of the season so far against Palace on the weekend.

There are no easy games in Europe and Spurs will have to field their strongest XI to get all the points.

Tanguy Ndombele is back and came on as a substitute against Palace. Ryan Sessegnon is still recovering from a hamstring injury. Giovanni Lo Celso is likely to be out till the first week of November with a hip injury.

Juan Foyth will be unavailable with an ankle injury. Kyle Walker-Peters will be out with a hamstring injury and Davinson Sanchez is out with an ankle injury.

Hugo Lloris – Goalkeeper

The captain will continue between the sticks and has started the season a lot better than last season.

The Ivorian had a fantastic game against Palace and has forced himself into the starting XI

The veteran will be partnering his Belgian teammate and should give the team some composure.

Danny Rose – Left-back

The England international makes the rest of the backline and should provide width on the opposite flank.

Harry Winks – Central midfield

Winks will be dictating play from deep and keep the game ticking

Moussa Sissoko – Central midfield

The Frenchman will give balance with his athleticism

Christian Eriksen – Attacking midfield

The Dane is back in favour and should help provide creativity for the forward line

Erik Lamela – Right-wing

The Argentine has made a fantastic start to the season and his tenacity will give the team balance.

Son Heung-MinLeft-wing

The Korean was fantastic on the weekend with a brace and will hope to get a few more

Harry Kane – Centre-forward

The Talisman and leader on the field, Kane will be hoping that he can get some goals on the day.
