Predicted Tottenham Hotspur line-up to face Wolves in the Premier League

Tottenham Hotspur will lock horns with Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday as Mauricio Pochettino aims to continue his side’s the winning run in the Premier League.

The North Londoners are in great form at the moment, and the way they hammered Everton and Bournemouth is a strong message to league leaders Liverpool. With the 5-0 victory over Bournemouth, Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur leapfrogged Manchester City into second place.

Wolverhampton Wanderers, meanwhile, come into the weekend’s game on the back of a 1-1 draw with relegation-threatened Fulham.

Team News

Eric Dier, Victor Wanyama, Jan Vertonghen, Moussa Dembele and Vincent Janssen remain out injured.

Serge Aurier is carrying a groin problem, while Dele Alli has a thigh injury. Both are expected to miss the Wolves clash.

Probable Tottenham Hotspur XI

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Manager: Mauricio Pochettino

Hugo Lloris (GK)

Lloris is the undisputed No.1 in goal and he’ll look to keep another clean sheet in the busy run of fixtures.

Kyle Walker-Peters

Kyle Walker-Peters (RB)

Walker-Peters bagged three assists in the first half against Bournemouth, displaying a top performance at the weekend. The youngster is likely to get another bite at the cherry on Saturday.

Juan Foyth (CB)

Foyth helped Spurs to a clean sheet against Bournemouth and that’ll give him a lot of confidence in the upcoming games.

Toby Alderweireld (CB)

Spurs’ defensive lynchpin, Alderweireld will look to keep Raul Jimenez and co. at bay on Saturday.

Danny Rose (LB)

A flying left-back, Rose will look to stretch the Wolves backline with his overlapping runs.

Moussa Sissoko (CM)

Sissoko has seamlessly slotted in at central midfield after injuries to Wanyama and Dembele. He deserves to retain his place in the team.

Harry Winks (CM)

Winks and Sissoko are working brilliantly in the middle of the park for Tottenham Hotspur. Pochettino will not think of changing the winning midfield pairing for the weekend fixture.

Lucas Moura (RW)

Blessed with explosive pace and quick feet, Moura could run the Wolves defence ragged if given too much time and space.

Christian Eriksen (CAM)

The heartbeat of this Tottenham Hotspur side, Eriksen will look to run the show against Wolves.

Heung-min Son

Son Heung-min (LW)

Son has scored 8 goals in his last 8 matches in domestic competitions and he’s full of confidence right now.
