Predicted Man United line-up to face Arsenal in the FA Cup

Since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s takeover as the manager after an embarrassing defeat at the hands of Liverpool, Manchester United have gone on a 7-game winning streak which included a memorable 1-0 win over Tottenham at Wembley stadium.

They have looked like a team reborn with all the players performing up to the high standards that have traditionally been set by United. They will be looking to continue their form by beating Arsenal and hence progressing onto the latter stages of the coveted tournament.

Probable Manchester United XI

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Manager: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

GK – David De Gea

Arguably the best keeper in the world, De Gea single has singlehandedly won many games for Manchester United. In a crucial game like this, he is expected to start.

RB – Ashley Young

Has shown himself in a good light over the last few months and has been good in an attacking sense as well. His crosses and runs will be crucial if they are to win this game.

RCB – Eric Bailly

Having lost his place in the starting line-up to Phil Jones, Bailly should start against Arsenal in what is effectively a must-win game for United.

LCB – Victor Lindelof

He has made the starting centre-back’s role his own and has managed to fend off competition from Bailly well. He should start this crucial game for the Devils.

LB – Luke Shaw

This young Englishman has had a good season after suffering multiple injury setbacks over the last few seasons. He will have to work his socks off if United are to progress from this tough fixture.

RCM – Nemanja Matic

Signing Matic was a master-stroke by Mourinho as his work in the defensive phase has helped the centre-halves regain their confidence.
