Predicted Leicester City line-up to face Watford in the Premier League

Leicester City were unable to get past a rigid Brighton and Hove Albion side last weekend that saw them draw 1-1 at the Amex Stadium. The Foxes have looked slightly off the pace in recent weeks which could be due to the emotional barrier they are playing through at the moment.

Manager Claude Puel will definitely expect a better performance from his side when they welcome Watford to the King Power Stadium this weekend. The Hornets are on the back of a loss against Liverpool last weekend. The Foxes will definitely aim to pick up a win and it would do them a world of good.

Team News

Leicester City have a couple of stars out injured and will need to play with their fit crop of players. Although Claude Puel will not be able to select James Maddison, who was sent off in the last game against Brighton and Hove Albion.

Probable Leicester City XI

Manager: Claude Puel

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Kasper Schmeichel (GK)

The Dane will surely keep his place between the sticks for this game. He has been a massive presence for the Foxes.

Ricardo Pereira (RB)

Pereira has done well after making the move to England this season but his attacking input has been minimal over the last few weeks.

Wes Morgan (CB)

The captain will continue at the back with Harry Maguire still out injured. He has shown good commitment.

Jonny Evans (CB)

Evans will continue to partner Morgan at the back for this game.

Ben Chilwell (LB)

Easily the most consistent player for the Foxes this season. Chilwell’s raids down the flank have been very fruitful for Leicester.

Ben Chilwell

Wilfred Ndidi (RCM)

Ndidi was brought on for Iborra in the last game and he will start this one instead of the Spanish international who picked up a slight injury.

Nampalys Mendy (CLM)

Mendy has shown good work rate but he needs to be more aggressive in his defending.

Marc Albrighton (RAM)

He is dangerous with his deliveries into the box and they will need to be spot on in this game.

Kelechi Iheanacho (CAM)

The Nigerian will come into the side and sit behind the striker for this one with Maddison ruled out through suspension.

Marc Albrighton

Demarai Gray (LAM)

Gray needs to be more consistent in front of the goal. He has looked lively but his end product hasn’t been great at times this season.

Jamie Vardy (ST)

Came on as a substitute and scored the equaliser for the Foxes in the last game. He will lead them out for this one.
