Predicted Everton line-up to face Cardiff City in the Premier League

Everton have looked very impressive under Marco Silva this season and look like a renewed side under the manager. The Toffees picked up an impressive draw against Chelsea last time out and will be aiming for a win against newcomers Cardiff City.

The Bluebirds picked up a win against Brighton and Hove Albion before the international break but they have otherwise looked very poor this season. Everton will definitely go for the win to cement their place in the top half of the table.

Team News

Marco Silva will be glad after an injury scare to Richarlison since the Brazilian seems fit to start now after playing for Brazil. Gylfi Sigurdsson and Ademola Lookman are doubts for this game. Andre Gomes is also a major doubt after picking up an injury.

Peobable Everton XI

Manager: Marco Silva

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Jordan Pickford (GK)

The England goalkeeper has been impressive between the sticks this season. He will continue in goal for this game as well.

Seamus Coleman (RB)

Coleman’s raids down the right flank have been fruitful for the Toffees since his return from injury. He is capable of punishing a poor Cardiff City defence.

Michael Keane (CB)

Keane has been a leader at the back for Everton this season. He will definitely start this game.

Kurt Zouma (CB)

Zouma will surely return to the line-up after being unable to play against parent club Chelsea last time out. The Frenchman has looked good at the back alongside Keane.

Lucas Digne (LB)

Digne has created the most chances by any full-back in the last three weeks. There’s a very good chance that he will pick up assists in the coming weeks.

Tom Davies (RCM)

An injury to Andre Gomes should see Tom Davies return to central midfield for this game.

Gana Gueye (LCM)

The Senegal international’s defensive prowess makes him an indispensable option in Marco Silva’s side.

Theo Walcott (RAM)

The former Arsenal star has wasted a few opportunities in the last games but he could get back on the scoresheet in this game.

Richarlison (CAM)

Richarlison should be shifted back to the advanced midfield role with Sigurdsson a major doubt.

Bernard (LAM)

The Brazilian has been very effective since making the move to Merseyside this season. He will surely trouble the Bluebirds.

Cenk Tosun (ST)

Tosun could receive a start in this game with Richarlison sitting behind him and dictating the play in the final third.
