Celtic vs Hearts Predictions – Celtic line-up

Despite clinching the title a couple of weeks ago, Celtic will be disappointed after the 2-0 loss to Rangers last weekend. However, the Hoops have a chance to finish off the league campaign on a high when they host Hearts on Sunday.

Neil Lennon’s side will have a good warm-up against Hearts this weekend before the two teams face each other again next weekend in the final of the Scottish Cup.

Team News

Ryan Christie, Daniel Arzani and Dedryck Boyata are all ruled out of the game but the Hoops will have everybody else available for the final game of their season.

Probable Celtic XI

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Manager: Neil Lennon

Scott Bain (GK)

Neil Lennon’s undisputed first-choice and a sure starter on Sunday.

Mikael Lustig (RB)

Lustig played on the right side of a three-man defence but he should return to his preferred right-back role against Hearts.

Jozo Simunovic (CB)

Celtic’s number 5 has been immense in the last few games and he should continue there on Sunday.

Kristoffer Ajer (CB)

The Norwegian has been a regular for the Hoops this season and he has formed a solid partnership with Simunovic in the heart of the defence.

Kieran Tierney (LB)

Tierney has struggled with a few niggles recently but he should be fit enough to start the game on Sunday.

Scott Brown (CM)

The skipper didn’t have the best of games against Rangers last time out but he has been an integral part of their side and should start at the weekend.

Callum McGregor (CM)

McGregor has been solid next to Brown so far and is expected to start there on Sunday.

James Forrest (RW)

He has been a regular starter for the Hoops this season and it is unlikely that it will change.

Tom Rogic (CAM)

The Aussie was subbed off in the derby last week but he has been impressive and should start this game.

Timothy Weah (LW)

The PSG loanee could play his final game at Celtic Park and he will look to finish off his loan spell on a high.
