Predicted Everton line-up to face Wolves in the Premier League

Everton will welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers to the Goodison Park on Saturday as Marco Silva looks for back-to-back Premier League wins.

The Toffees overcame strugglers Huddersfield Town on Tuesday but Marco Silva will expect an improvement in his team’s performance against Wolves at the weekend.

Wolves, meanwhile, will aim to build on the victory against West Ham to stay in the mix for a top-seven finish.

Team News

Lucas Digne will serve his three-game game suspension after he was shown a straight red card at Huddersfield in the previous game. In fact, Leighton Baines started the game but he was forced off with a rib injury and he is likely to miss the game against Wolves.

Mina could also miss Saturday’s game with an injury, while Idrissa Gueye remains doubtful. Andre Gomes picked up his fifth yellow card in the midweek and will miss Saturday’s game.

Probable Everton XI

Formation: 4-1-4-1

Manager: Marco Silva

Jordan Pickford (GK)

Pickford produced an excellent performance at Huddersfield, underlining his status as one of Premier League’s top goalkeepers. He is a certain starter against Wolves.

Seamus Coleman (RB)

Coleman will have to be at his best defensively to keep the Wolves left wing-back at bay.

Michael Keane (CB)

Keane will relish the physical battle with Raul Jimenez and look to keep the Mexican quiet at the weekend.

Kurt Zouma (CB)

Zouma’s physicality and ball-playing attributes complement Keane’s no-nonsense defending for Everton. He is a certain starter at the weekend.

Jonjoe Kenny (LB)

With Digne suspended and Baines injured, Kenny could be handed a chance at left-back.

Tom Davies (CDM)

Davies could find himself in a deeper role against Wolves. The academy graduate will have his task cut out at the weekend.

Gylfi Sigurdsson (RCM)

Sigurdsson’s eye for a pass and deliveries from set-pieces make him an asset for Everton. His presence will be crucial as Silva hopes to get another three points on board.

Bernard (LCM)

Bernard could be given a free role in the attack with an expectation to deliver the goods against Wolves.

Richarlison (LW)

Richarlison scored a brace against Wolves and he’ll be raring to haunt Saturday’s visitors too.

Richarlison

Theo Walcott (RW)

On the right, Walcott could get a recall into the Everton starting XI. The Englishman will have a chance to impress the manager on Saturday.

Cenk Tosun (ST)

Tosun did well at Huddersfield before he was sacrificed following Digne’s red card. The Turkish star could be handed another chance to lead the team’s attack.
