Hull City vs Bristol City predictions – Bristol City line-up

Bristol City’s chances of getting into the playoffs have taken a massive hit after winning just one of their last 5 games in the Championship so far. However, a victory against Hull City on Sunday and results going their way could still get them into the playoffs for promotion to the Premier League.

Team News

Kory Smith and Frank Fielding are both ruled out but Callum O’Dowda has returned to full training. However, Niki Mäenpää is a huge doubt with a calf problem and Antoine Semenyo will miss the game due to suspension.

Probable Bristol City XI

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Manager: Lee Johnson

Max O’Leary (GK)

Injuries to Fielding and Mäenpää has opened the door for the 22-year old to start at the weekend.

Jack Hunt (RB)

The former Sheffield Wednesday man has a goal and 5 assists to his name in 31 appearances so far. He is expected to continue at right-back for the game on Sunday.

Tomas Kalas (CB)

The Chelsea loanee has been brilliant for the Robins, having played 35 games so far. He is a sure starter on Sunday.

Adam Webster (CB)

The 21-year-old has missed just 3 games all season and he is expected to continue next to Kalas.

Jay Dasilva (LB)

The Chelsea loanee has been impressive whenever he has played and he should start ahead of Lloyd Kelly at the weekend.

Marlon Pack (CM)

The Englishman has played every single game for the Robins so far and he is expected to finish off the season as an ever-present.

Liam Walsh (CM)

The 21-year-old has often been used as a squad player but he is an exciting young talent and deserves a start on Sunday.

Jamie Paterson (LW)

Paterson hasn’t had the most productive season for the Robins but he has been a regular, having played 40 games. He is expected to start on the left flank against Hull.

Andreas Weimann (CAM)

The former Villa attacker has 10 goals and 5 assists to his name so far and his creativity will be important in the final game of the season.

Josh Brownhill (RW)

Brownhill should be given a free role and he could switch positions with Weimann during the game. He is a certain starter.

Famara Diédhiou (ST)
